About the Workshop
Seismic isolation is an effective technology for safety of structures against earthquakes that can ensure continued functionality and operational performance of critical structures (e.g., hospitals, bridges, operation control buildings, data centres) during major earthquakes to assist in relief and recovery operations. This workshop brings experts from multiple countries (India, US, UK and Taiwan to develop diverse and comprehensive understanding of seismic isolation systems, their design, application and performance expectation.
